We are seeking a motivated and commercially-minded Senior Paralegal to join our growing legal team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal looking to take on a high level of responsibility, lead projects autonomously with appropriate support and supervision and gain exposure to the fast-paced and dynamic fintech sector.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Head of Legal to provide high-quality, responsive and pragmatic legal support to internal clients across various teams.
This is a full-time role, based in our Manchester office.
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000, depending on experience.
Key responsibilities
- Responding to client and partner due diligence requests, in collaboration with our commercial and risk teams.
- Reviewing and drafting a range of commercial agreements, NDAs, policies, employee agreements and other routine contracts.
- Assisting with company secretarial matters.
- Conducting legal research on a variety of topics.
- Supporting cross-functional projects and initiatives across the business.
- Liaising with and managing external counsel.
- Supporting the development and optimisation of legal operations, including managing legal intake.

Experience and requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Paralegal (private practice or in-house).
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: KYC/AML, financial regulation, corporate/M&A, commercial agreements, banking and finance, litigation, or data protection.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
- Previous experience in the payments, fintech, or broader technology sectors is advantageous but not essential.
